I was excited to have my paper accepted at ICML 2026 as a spotlight!

I am excited to share that my paper, “Asymptotic Optimality of the High-Dimensional Gaussian Mechanism and Improved Low-Dimensional Mechanisms for Differential Privacy,” has been accepted to ICML 2026 as a spotlight! This work studies when the Gaussian mechanism is optimal for differential privacy, showing asymptotic optimality in high dimensions while identifying improved mechanisms in low-dimensional settings.

I thank my mentors Alex Bienstock and Antigoni Polychroniadou for their encouragement, and many thoughtful research conversations throughout the project. I learned a great deal from both of them, and the team.
